Foods to Avoid for Weight Loss/Fat Loss

If you want to lose weight or belly fat you need to avoid some foods from your daily diet. The foods that contain fats, sugar, or oil and the foods that are calorie-dense should be avoided. These foods if taken does not let you lose your weight or belly fat. These foods also have health risks.

1. Potato Chips

Potatoes are healthy but after the process, the potatoes do not remain healthy. Potato Chips are high in calories and have added fats, sugars, etc. Some studies have found that potato chips contribute to weight gain more than any other food.

2. French Fries

French Fries are deep-fried potatoes. French Fries are high in calories and fats. Potatoes are carbohydrates and deep-fried carbohydrates form a dangerous compound that leads to abdominal obesity.

3. Processed Food

The foods that are being processed and sold in cans, boxes in supermarkets are extremely dangerous. We don’t know what is the method of processing or what is being added to it during processing. Some studies show that processed food is calorie-dense, low in nutrients, and high in salt.

4. White Bread

White Bread has lots of added sugar and refined grains. It is high on the glycemic index which will increase blood sugar. Refined grains must be avoided for weight loss. Also, studies have found that people who consume white bread regularly are at high risk of obesity.

5. Donuts

Donuts are almost completely made of sugar. Donuts break down into simple sugar quickly in the body which releases insulin. Where there is an excess of sugar the fat cells consume it. And also the sugar levels also change for diabetic people.

6. Burgers

Burgers are high in dietary cholesterol and saturated fats. These two increase the cholesterol level in the body. Cholesterol is the major reason for the heart attack. It is best to avoid it.

7. Pizza

Pizza contains high calories, refined carbohydrates, saturated fats, and sodium. All of these contribute to an increase in belly fat. Consumption of pizza can lead to obesity and heart diseases.

8. Fried Chicken

Again fried chickens are deep-fried foods. Also fried chicken contains advanced glycation end products (AGEs) which are formed when chicken is cooked with oil at high temperature.

9. Ice Cream

Ice Creams are high in calories, high in sugar, and high fat. There is a high risk of obesity when ice cream is consumed. And consumption of ice creams can lead to Bloating and constipation.

10. Cream Cheese

Cream Cheese is high in saturated fat and sodium. It increases the risk of diabetes, obesity, and heart diseases. It is being said that cream cheese contains estrogen and some steroids which could disturb the endocrine system.

11. Jam

Jam contains sugar and added flavors. The excess of sugar leads to obesity and the risk of diabetes. Jam is a low nutrient product. Some studies show that there is a slight risk of heart attack by consumption of artificial jam.

12. Sugary Beverages

Sugary Beverages are one of the unhealthiest foods. They contain a lot of calories. Although it is not solid it can make a person obese more than consumption of natural sugar.

13. White Rice

White Rice is low fat but also contains low nutrients. Studies show that consumption of white rice leads to obesity. It also contains a high glycemic index which can spike a blood sugar level of a diabetic person.

14. Alcohol

Alcohol is a calorie-dense drink and also high in sugar. They contain a minimal amount of nutrients. Alcohol should be avoided as it damages the liver.

15. Cakes

Cakes are also calorie-dense and it has added fats in it and is also high in sugar. Consumption of cake should be avoided for weight loss and fat loss. It also increases risk of obesity and can spike sugar levels.
